Manual & CNC Machining
With state of the art electronic
equipment, D.A.S. can custom machine almost any part to precision.
Examples include rods, tubes, clevis, ports, pistons, cushions, glands
and custom seals such as wear bands.
D.A.S. has both manual and CNC
machining capabilities. Manual machining allows D.A.S. the ultimate
flexibility to manufacture custom parts that do not require mass
quantities. When it is necessary for quantities to be large D.A.S. can
manufacture standard or custom parts via CNC.
Within the CNC department, D.A.S. has
full CAD/CAM capability generating AutoCAD drawings, converting them to
Surfcam drawings and conducting a full part simulation prior to sending
programs to the machines. This “proofing” process allows D.A.S. to
avoid downtime associated with programming errors. In addition, D.A.S.
has a full system backup daily to ensure programs and prints are kept
safe.
D.A.S. can machine parts from either a
customer supplied sample part, print or specified dimensions.
